Do you know how long before a game the star pass goes on sale before the game.

they are on sale now for certain matches. the barça-eibar and barça-tenerife matches in november have them available for 165€ each. if you click on the link to buy tickets, they will take you to a site where you can select star pass. but you need to have regular tickets to the match as well. you cannot buy star passes but not match tickets.

ehh, most liga f teams aren't too particular about away vs. home seating like barça is. yes, technically there are away sections, but a lot of these matches are played in smaller stadiums and pitches and you'll usually find culers sitting wherever. maybe you should be more careful at atletí and real madrid home matches (like wear a coat or jumper over your barça jersey 😅), but even then it's not really that strictly enforced, in my experience.

I won MVP blocker today in a B Bout against Soul City. It was super fun! I met do many cool new people and I can't believe that I got chosen for MVP blocker. My coach had me on a lineup as a Pivot, which is a position I've been wanting to really get good at. The one time my jammer needed a star pass, I grabbed it, spun around abd charged into the opposing wall. There was another time that a girl was really trying to mess with our wall by hitting me repeatedly, I managed to do my shoulder and smash into her so hard it lifted her off the ground and sent her out of bounds. She didn't try to mess with me after that. I've always had some significant self esteem issues, and I tend to really over analyze every little thing that I do and dwell on my mistakes. Derby had helped me so much to pull myself out of my head and focus on what is right there in front of me. I love Roller Derby so much and I'm so honored that I get play this wonderful sport with such amazing women.

(I will be skating under the pseudonym "Rogue One.") We may have started a derby star wars meme war. She made this and it is glorious.

Most of you who know me are also familiar with roller derby, but if you are foreign to the “Panty Pass” then this is what it is/means:

If a jammer is struggling to get out of the pack to score, wants her pivot to jam instead, or for whatever reason just wants to confuse the opposing team, she hands the star/jammer panty to her pivot. The pivot then becomes the jammer, and can score but cannot be the lead jammer.

So apparently there are only two types of jams for me when I play jammer: Ridiculously easy, I fly through the pack every time, or Impossible, can’t make it through the pack no matter how much I push and juke. Thank the derby goddesses for Star Passes.

I am endlessly amused by this photo because this captures me being a giant "dumb dumb" (according to Looney). I had just exited the penalty box and Looney and Jack were tapping their heads, so I thought they were saying there were two pivots on the track and I needed to remove my helmet cover, so I did. But no, they were telling me to go to Grenade to do a star pass. I figured out what they were saying, put the pivot cover back on, got to Grenade and she handed me the star cover, and I became the jammer - but man, I made sure to complicate Ocala's first successful star pass of the season, lol.
